3. How much space is required for a drone light show?
The required space depends on the size and complexity of the show. Generally, we need an open area free of obstacles, such as trees or buildings, with a minimum clearance of 100m x 100m (328ft x 328ft). However, we assess each location individually to ensure safety and optimal viewing.

At DBE, our drones have one of the longest air times available. Our drones are powered by advanced 45 Wh smart LiPo batteries that deliver up to 20 minutes of showtime and approximately 30 minutes of hover capability. However, most drone shows typically run between 10 and 15 minutes, which is the perfect length to captivate an audience without losing impact.

The cost of a drone show typically ranges from $15,000 to over $100,000, depending on the scope and scale of the production. Factors such as the number of drones, complexity of the choreography, custom 3D animations, location, logistics, and optional enhancements like pyrotechnics all play a role. Smaller shows with fewer drones and simple designs sit at the lower end, while large-scale productions with intricate animations and advanced effects represent a higher investment.
